There are 3 pieces of software to install or configure:
Simplify3D
Simplify3D is the most commonly used 3D printing slicing software used with H-Series machines. In addition to being a useful component of the software toolchain, Simplify3D will provide useful capabilities later on in the setup process.
To complete the configuration of Simplify3D you will need the following files:
- Simplify3D Installation Files
https://cloud.simplify3d.com/account/downloads - Simplify3D Profiles for H-Series Machines
https://github.com/diabase/h-series-s3d-profiles/releases/latest
Install and Configure Simplify3D
- Login with your Simplify3D account and download the software at https://cloud.simplify3d.com/account/downloads.
- Install Simplify3D selecting your desired language and file installation locations
- When Simplify3D is launched for the first time, you will be greeted by the Configuration Assistant. The necessary configurations for Simplify3D will be handled by imported profiles, so you can click "Cancel" on the Configuration Assistant window.
- Download the latest Simplify3D profiles by navigating to https://github.com/diabase/h-series-s3d-profiles/releases/latest and clicking on the "Source code (zip)" link.
- Extract the .FFF files contained in the zip file and save them to a temporary location on your computer.
- In Simplify3D select File > Import FFF profile and navigate to the extracted .FFF files.
- Select the desired profiles and click "Open".
- If the import was successful, a pop-up window will appear advising which profiles were successfully imported.
Diabase Print Wizard
The Diabase Print Wizard performs additional post-processing on g-code files exported by Simplify3D and other 3D printing slicing software. The latest release is currently available for Windows PCs only and can be installed by downloading either the .exe file or .msi file at https://github.com/diabase/H-Series-Wizard/releasesH-Series-Wizard/releases
