Mounting the Machine

The overall dimensions of the H-Series with filament cabinet and build enclosure are:

Width: 130 cm (~51 in)

Depth: 91 cm (~ 36 in)

Height: 122 cm (~48 in)

Weight: Up to 120 kg (~265lb)

There is a hoisting point at the top of the machine for lifting with a forklift or overhead lift.

Any sturdy work surface will suffice as a benchtop to mount the H-Series machine. One recommended bench is the 60" x 30" U-Line Packing Table.

You can find the mounting hole dimensions here, and generally use the mounting bolts shipped with the machine. If longer bolts are required, the through holes are 9mm in diameter. See the attachment for specific mounting hole locations, or to print a template. Note: a template will be included in the shipment.

If the bench is against a wall, the front edge of the bench should be at least 905mm from the wall.

Power

A 120V/15A grounded circuit will sufficiently power the H5, which should never exceed 10A current draw. A GFCI-protected receptacle is not required.

Ethernet

A hardwired Ethernet connection to your local computer network is required. If you prefer to connect your machine via a wireless network, you will need a WiFi-Ethernet adapter (option).

Compressed Dry Air

Dry, compressed air is required for H5 machines with ATC. The air supply should be capable of providing at least 85 LPM (3 CFM) at 6 bar (90 psi). For comfort during operation, we recommend a compressor with an operating noise level below 65 decibels (option, option).
